About

I’m a recent graduate from Stanford University, with academic interests in biochemistry, engineering, neuroscience, and with a love for music.

For more than 8 years, I’ve worked in various laboratories that help to answer question in biochemical and biomedical sciences, including Dr. A. Omoike’s quantitative chemical laboratory, Dr. J. Turner’s neuro-psycho-pharmacology laboratory, Dr. S. Siegel’s neuropsychiatric laboratory, Dr. D. Lee’s neurosurgery laboratory, Dr. B. Kaneshiro’s computational neuroscience laboratory, and Dr. K. Kosik’s neurodegenerative disease laboratory. As a scientist, I’m interested in developing new tools for clinically translatable research and treatment, as well as advancing translatable model systems that don’t rely on animals. With my work, I hope to ultimately provide new accessible tools that may help to remove barriers which prevent individuals from participating in society, in roles where they feel best suited.

As a musician and multimedia artist, I am interested in telling unique stories, and in offering new representations of topics, that may prompt an audience to digest it in a more introspective manner. I enjoy collaborating with artists of different disciplines, to enhance the communication and connection with an audience.
